Big British Invite: Welcome to the UK, an event offering a simulated journey through Britain, will be held on Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 2nd at Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi, featuring interactive installations.

Co-hosted by British Airways and VisitBritain, Big British Invite: Welcome to the UK brings the essence of Britain—its history, culture, World Heritage sites, shopping, and stunning landscapes—to Tokyo Midtown.
At the venue, visitors can try on British fashion and enjoy shopping. A fashion show featuring the latest collection from Temperley London, a popular brand also favored by the Princess of Wales, will be held. Additionally, the elegant black lace 'Amolette Dress,' actually worn by the Princess of Wales, a growing fashion icon, will be exhibited.
The event will also feature music by British artists, allowing attendees to enjoy UK music mixes via smartphone or iPad apps, alongside DJ performances.
Furthermore, attendees will have a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip through a lottery. The lucky winner will receive a special package tour including a luxurious hotel stay in London, a styling session at the Temperley London flagship store in Mayfair for a complete transformation, and exclusive access to the Temperley London runway show at London Fashion Week in September 2013.
The event also includes a visit from the Yeomen Warders of the Tower of London and a recreation of Buckingham Palace, offering an experience of the Royal Family's private entrance. These two days provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in Britain without leaving Tokyo. We invite you to discover the contemporary allure of the UK, amplified by events such as the London Olympics, the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, and Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
