United Once More, For the Future of Tohoku's Children
Sunday evenings, a precious time for adults, flowing gently with sophisticated music. Enhancing that time further is DJ Toshio Matsuura's radio program, 'TOKYO MOON'.──Each Sunday, from 24:00, he broadcasts carefully selected music from around the world, along with intellectually stimulating topics for adults, on Inter FM 76.1MHz. Here, we look back at the program that just aired. This week, we introduce a charity run to be held on Sunday, March 10th.

Two Years On... United Once More
It has been nearly two years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, which claimed so many precious lives and disrupted peaceful lives.Great East Japan EarthquakeRecovery and reconstruction have not progressed as expected, and as time passes, public interest in the affected areas gradually wanes. Amidst this, the Hataichi Fund (http://www.hatachikikin.com/about.html) continues to provide unique, ongoing support activities focused on education for the future of children in the disaster-stricken regions.
Sympathizing with their activities and seeking to support them, last year I launched "Run for Children Tohoku," a project to raise donations through "running." We challenged ourselves in the "Tokyo Marathon 2012" and organized charity runs around the Imperial Palace from "adidas RUNBASE," inviting general participants.
Unfortunately, I was unable to enter this year's Tokyo Marathon, but the charity run, which was well-received last year, will be held again this year on Sunday, March 10th, with the cooperation of Adidas.will be held again this year on Sunday, March 10thYou can enter through OPENERS. On the day, you can choose to run one or two laps of the approximately 5km course, and I hope we can all run together, thinking of the disaster-stricken regions.
This year too, all participants will receive a T-shirt produced exclusively for this event, so please look forward to it. All participation fees collected on the day will be donated to the fund.
