A Floral, Woody Scent Pursuing "The Scent of Happiness"

Twenty years have passed since the creation of "L'eau d'Issey," the first fragrance from ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS. Inspired by the modern and beautifully functional clothing of "PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE," which showcases Issey Miyake's creativity in clothing, comes the new fragrance "PARFUMS PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE."

Nathalie Erroine Camel, Vice President of ISSEY MIYAKE PARFUMS at Beaute Prestige International, stated at the press conference, "PARFUMS PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE is a perfume born from fashion. It took three years to embody the energy of PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE, which expresses dynamic freedom and joy."

The scent, created by acclaimed young perfumer Aurélien Guichard, is characterized by a pear note, which Nathalie describes as "the scent of joy." The floral and woody aroma is truly a scent of happiness. The bottle, with its multifaceted glass and unique cap reminiscent of a flower's calyx, was inspired by "the light emitted from the three-dimensional forms and cross-sections of BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE, an independent bag brand derived from PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE accessories," she explained.
