Long-established Brewery “Innstadt” to Make Its Japan Debut!

This year, to celebrate its 10th anniversary of its full-scale launch in Japan, it will be held at Tokyo Dome! Since 1810, the “Oktoberfest,” the world’s largest beer festival, has been held in Munich, Germany, to celebrate the new beer brewed that year. In Japan, it has been held in various locations nationwide since its first event at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in 2003.

At “Super Oktoberfest in Tokyo Dome 2012,” staff dressed in traditional German folk costumes, Dirndl and Lederhosen, will invite visitors into the authentic Munich atmosphere. You can enjoy not only the limited “Oktoberfest Official Beer” draft, brewed in Germany, but also a variety of authentic German beers that are rarely available in Japan.

Special Guests to Appear on the Main Stage!

A main stage is set up in the center, allowing enjoyment from anywhere in the venue while savoring beer and food. Sasha from Germany and Yoko Thomsen, who has studied in Germany, will serve as the main MCs for all three days.

The stage will feature live performances by the main members of the German folk music band Hofbräuhaus, a first appearance in Japan and a familiar sight at Oktoberfest in Munich. Additionally, DJ Takkyu Ishino, who is knowledgeable about German techno and culture, and the girl rock band ORESKABAND, expected to gain worldwide recognition, will appear as special guests.

Furthermore, Super Oktoberfest “Ambassador” professional wrestler Masahiro Chono and TV personality Haruka Christine will also appear in stage events.
