The “Shibukaru Festival. 2012 ~Girls' Mix Culture Festival~,” a celebration of young female creators, will unfold from Friday, October 19th to Monday, October 29th, across various locations in Shibuya, including PARCO MUSEUM, Koen Dori Plaza, Club Quattro, and Shibuya PARCO.

Theme: “Where Cultures Meet”

Last year's “Shibukaru Festival.” brought together the talents of approximately 100 female creators pioneering the future of fashion and culture. This year, the popular art exhibitions, live performances, and dance showcases return with even more power!

Under the theme “Where Cultures Meet” this year, creators at the forefront of art, fashion, photography, film, and more, such as Chim ↑ Pom and Misha Janette, will participate. In addition to collaborations between creators and joint projects with apparel brands, there are plans for synergy with the Shibuya Fashion Festival, a fashion event originating from Shibuya Ward, which will be held concurrently.

Furthermore, throughout the festival, don't miss the “Shibukaru Bookshelf.” at PARCO Book Center Shibuya, featuring recommended books from participating creators, and the “Shibukaru Festival. Music Festival 2012,” which will take place on the evenings of Monday, October 22nd, and Saturday, October 27th, featuring female musicians, DJs, VJs, and performers.

The “Shibukaru Festival.” promises unexpected chemical reactions across genres. Now is the time to experience the power emanating from these diverse female creators.
