Prototype Steteco with Lacquer Dyeing Specially Exhibited

This event, organized by Iwate Prefecture and now in its third iteration, collaborates with steteco.com (http://steteco.com), a brand that reinterprets the timeless appeal of the Japanese steteco into a new form. The collection features items from Iwate that steteco researchers personally experienced and appreciated during their visits.

This exhibition also includes rare displays of sand molds for Nanbu ironware and raw lacquer wood, allowing visitors to glimpse the creation process of these crafts. Furthermore, a special exhibit showcases prototype steteco garments dyed with lacquer, a product born from the collaboration between steteco.com and Iwate Prefecture.
