Theme: The Rolling Stones' 50th Anniversary
The popular series "The Future of DJ Culture," featured in "dictionary," the free paper published by Clubking, brings together various guests, centered around Koichi Kuwabara, to discuss DJ culture.
This time, guests Kei Fukuhara, DJ NORI, Ruri Shioi, and Jun Sasaki will join for a public talk themed around The Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary this year.
For an entrance fee of 1,000 yen, attendees can enjoy all-you-can-drink at the special bar, and there's also a service to print Clubking's original designs onto T-shirts, bags, and other fabric items.
"We started this because we wanted to engage with DJ culture, but really, what is the role of a DJ today, and what has it been? How will DJs influence the music industry going forward? The free paper, which started with that same motivation and has been running for 24 years, felt like it was time for a bit of a summation." (Koichi Kuwabara)
This talk series, continued by Mr. Kuwabara with such sentiments, is packed with the essence of DJ culture that can only be heard at Clubking.
