EVENT | "Photographing the Unseen: Kenji Niiho Photography School Graduation Exhibition" Held
A Year's Achievements Culminate in a Graduation Exhibition
Capturing the Unseen—The Kenjiro Shintsubo Photography School Graduation Exhibition
Selected from over twice the capacity of 25 applicants, the Kenjiro Shintsubo Photography School, led by photographer Kenjiro Shintsubo, brought together participants from their teens to their seventies, spanning diverse generations and backgrounds. Each session involved participants working on assignments given by guest lecturers, followed by presentations and discussions. In the summer, a workshop was held in the form of a retreat in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture. The culmination of a year's work, challenging themselves to capture "the unseen"—"presence, sound, time, scent, words"—will be showcased in a graduation exhibition held from Tuesday, March 27th, at Hillside Forum in Daikanyama.

Works Born from a "Heated Classroom" of Mutual Growth and Inspiration
The Kenjiro Shintsubo Photography School is part of "Club Hillside," a program established as a platform to loosely connect people across regions, generations, and genres, based at Hillside Terrace. It was realized with the full participation of Kenjiro Shintsubo, driven by the desire to create an "ideal learning environment" unique to Club Hillside.
This exhibition of graduation works is the greatest benefit of this photography school based at Hillside Terrace. While each student independently develops their exhibition piece with their own theme, a volunteer committee formed by the students takes the lead in preparations such as publicity, exhibition setup, and operations.
During the exhibition period, reviews and talk sessions will be held with the school's guest lecturers and magazine editors. It is an event to watch as a venue for discovering new talent.
