Experience French "Pâques" at Hara Museum!
Easter, a major holiday in Europe and the Americas alongside Christmas, celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Renowned French patisserie Pierre Hermé Paris and Hara Museum will co-host "'Pâques' Easter 2012 Where is Your Rabbit? ~Let's Find the Chocolates Hidden in the Garden~," a recreation of the traditional French Easter celebration, on Sunday, April 8th, at Hara Museum in Shinagawa.

A Chocolate Hunt in the Museum Courtyard with Baskets
Easter is Christianity's most significant festival, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion. This year, it falls on April 8th.
In French households, adults hide chocolates shaped like eggs, symbols of life, and rabbits, known for their fertility, in the garden for children to find and enjoy. Continuing from last year, Pierre Hermé Paris and Hara Museum aim to let participants of all ages experience the traditions of Easter by recreating "Pâques," a traditional event that heralds spring in Europe.
During the event, participants will search for Pierre Hermé Paris's exquisite chocolates in the museum's courtyard with baskets. Additionally, The Hall within the museum will feature exhibitions on Easter history and chocolates, along with workshops led by French pâtissiers. It promises to be a day where families can engage their senses to enjoy European traditions and culture.
Easter Egg and Bunny Chocolates Also Available for a Limited Time
Furthermore, Pierre Hermé Paris boutiques will offer chocolates shaped like Easter eggs and bunnies from Sunday, April 1st, to Friday, April 27th.
The "Lapin de Pâques," a charming rabbit with a ribbon around its neck, and the artistically designed "Oeuf de Pâques" in original designs, are chocolates that embody Pierre Hermé Paris's signature flair, making them almost too beautiful to eat and perfect for display. With a variety of sizes and types available, they are ideal for creating an Easter atmosphere at home or as a delightful gift to celebrate the arrival of spring.
