Simultaneous Broadcast with the UK Achieved This Year

Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, held the legendary beach party "BIG BEACH BOUTIQUE" in his hometown of Brighton, UK, in 2001. It became a sensation, drawing 250,000 people. The Japanese version, "BIG BEACH FESTIVAL," first held in 2009, has since grown into a quintessential summer outdoor music festival, filled with electrifying sounds each year.

This year marks a simultaneous event with Brighton, the original host, and Makuhari. Performing in Makuhari will be The Chemical Brothers, who won a Grammy for "WE ARE THE NIGHT" in 2007 and are generating buzz with the March 21st release of their first-ever live concert film, "DON’T THINK." They boast immense popularity in Japan and will deliver a DJ set, even premiering new material.

From Germany, "the emperor of German techno," Sven Väth, and from the UK, the progressive house icon John Digweed, who leads the esteemed dance label "Bedrock Records," will also play in Makuhari. The lineup features popular artists from dance rock, techno, and progressive house genres, with more acts to be announced. Meanwhile, the UK venue will see a joint appearance by Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox.
