The second installment of "SWITCH" July 2011 issue, "Social Culture Kami Collaboration 100," which thoroughly covered Japan's new era of cultural scenes utilizing social media like Nico Nico Douga, Pixiv, Twitter, Ustream, and Facebook for creative activities, introducing 100 notable creators, will be released on January 20th (Friday). An異ジャンルcollaboration between URBAN RESEARCH and SWITCH, themed on the fusion of fashion and social culture, has been realized!

Focus on the moe-kyun idol unit "DEMPA GUMI.inc"!

Fashion, internet culture, and social media. What kind of chemical reaction occurs when these disparate genres of content collide?

The idol unit "DEMPA GUMI.inc," active primarily in Akihabara, the mecca of net culture, with the concept of "Sending energy to the world with moe-kyun songs ♪," challenges fashion portraiture dressed in URBAN RESEARCH's clothing.

A moe-kyun live performance will also be held, and footage of the event will be distributed starting January 25th (Wednesday) on three platforms: URBAN RESEARCH's iPhone-exclusive app "Staff Style," the YouTube channel "URBANRESEARCHmedia," and the digital signage within the URBAN RESEARCH Lumine Yurakucho store.

Prior to the distribution, a portion of the video will be previewed at SWITCH's special event held on January 24th (Tuesday) at the live streaming site & studio "DOMMUNE."
