An Exhibition Featuring Sculptural Works Exploring the Theme of “Water” Leading to “Drinking”

For the past year, “Guillemets Layout Studio” has been collaborating with glass artist Go Tsukino from Izumi, Osaka, on the development of glass vessels. Starting with a wine glass that I personally desired, I’ve been exploring vessels for drinking, along with related tools.

Continuing from last year, his exhibition this time is not limited to vessels like the previous “wine glass” theme. Instead, it features sculptural works that explore the theme of “water” leading to “drinking.”

I hope to take this opportunity to reconsider this material, which possesses a transparency unlike ceramics, lacquerware, or metal.
