Art Exhibition "JOE FOTI 'HERE COMES MR. OCULUS'"
This art exhibition began with the passion of Chrome Hearts designer and owner Richard Stark, who said, "What Chrome Hearts loves, for all of you who love Chrome Hearts." This time, artworks by Richard's close friend, Joe Foti, are being exhibited and sold at CHROME HEARTS TOKYO and CHROME HEARTS OSAKA.

Who is Mr. Oculus in "HERE COMES MR. OCULUS"?
Joe Foti became the head of art and science at Chrome Hearts in 1990. He is an artist who lived and worked in Japan from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, following the success of his skull figurine art exhibited at a solo show, he released "FOTI by CHROME HEARTS," designed by Foti and produced by Chrome Hearts. This collection proposed new design items, including chains, keyrings, pendants, rings, and T-shirts, featuring twelve unique characters.
In "HERE COMES MR. OCULUS," Mr. Oculus refers to a type of spaceship. These beings roam the galaxy like pirates and are known for their love of stealing art.
The name of this plundering group comes from their habit of entering and exiting Earth's orbit through the oculus, a circular opening at the top of the dome of the Pantheon in Rome, used for natural light. They move so quickly, in fact, that they are invisible to the human eye.—.
The inspiration for the solo exhibition "Mr. Oculus Has Arrived" came to Joe Foti during his travels in Europe. Foti commented, "I was deeply drawn to the stories of art stolen during World War II. In museums, I saw many paintings that had only the canvas cut out in a square with a knife, leaving the frames behind, as if they had been stolen by Nazi soldiers. A considerable number of these works remain missing and will likely never be found. Perhaps they are traveling somewhere in the universe at an extraordinary speed."
