So Realistic, Even the Stars Might Mistake Them for Themselves
Madame Tussauds, a popular attraction operated by Merlin Entertainments based in the UK, has expanded to 12 locations in eight countries. Since its opening in London in 1835, it has attracted over 550 million visitors, offering an interactive experience where guests can get up close with officially approved celebrity figures.
At Madame Tussauds Tokyo, there are no ropes or barriers around the life-size figures, allowing visitors to pose for photos and interact with the celebrities as if they were really there, perhaps even putting an arm around their shoulders.
