20 Days to Create a New Breeze with the "Air Vase"

The "Air Vase," a mysterious product released in 2010 by Toru + Architects, is a round piece of paper with slits that stands on its own when unfolded.

By simply unfolding the paper with slits into a three-dimensional shape, it becomes a self-standing vase. Depending on how it's unfolded, and by changing the colors and patterns on the front and back, it can take on various expressions, serving as a container for small items, an objet d'art, or even gift wrapping. In this workshop, participants will use the "Paper Stamp Kit" to draw new patterns on the "Air Vase" as their canvas.

Along with four new designs by Toru + Architects and 100 patterns, these 20 days are dedicated to creating a new breeze with the "Air Vase." The opening reception will be held on Monday, September 5th, starting at 6 PM.

① Daily Workshop
Create your own "Air Vase" using the "Paper Stamp Kit." Anyone can participate by purchasing a white "Air Vase" (¥420 per sheet).

② Special Workshop: "Air Vase" Creation with Toru + Architects
Kids' Workshop: Saturday, September 10th, 2:00 PM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–5:00 PM
Talk Event & Workshop: Friday, September 16th, 7:00 PM–9:00 PM
