Our first guest is Tomoyasu Hirano, a media creator and representative director of DigitalStage. While planning and producing award-winning computer software, in the wake of 3.11, he co-initiated the donation site "kizunaworld.org" with Ryuichi Sakamoto to support disaster-stricken areas. He also actively participated in support activities, visiting Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, for the "8.15 Festival FUKUSHIMA!" centered around artists like Otomo Yoshihide, Endo Michiro, and Wago Ryoichi, and reporting on it via Facebook.

In this inaugural episode of "OPENERS LIVE! Susume Nippon!," Mr. Hirano will share his thoughts since 3.11, the background and latest information on the launch of "kizunaworld.org," and what he witnessed firsthand during his visit to Fukushima.

Founded DigitalStage Inc. in 1998. He plans and produces software and projects that shape the future of social media. His representative works, the web creation software "BiND for WebLiFE*" and the VJ software "motion dive," have received Good Design Awards and Special Mentions at the Japan Media Arts Festival. Recently, he has focused on social media, embodying the excitement of "shared experiences" using Ustream and Twitter. Furthermore, "BiND for WebLiFE* 5," representing a further evolution, will be released on September 2nd.
