Sakamoto Social Project's Second Installment! Live Ustream Broadcast!

The piano and guitar create a touching, organic electronica sound that harmonizes with the vibrations of the earth in Yosawa, creating a collaboration between the tranquility of nature and music, coloring a primordial global worldview.

For the Sakamoto Social Project, the special live performance will be streamed for free on Ustream, also serving as a charity event for artists including Ryuichi Sakamoto.Great East Japan EarthquakeIt will be a free Ustream broadcast, doubling as a charity for the reconstruction support project kizunaworld.org.

The Ustream broadcast will be handled by Tomoyasu Hirano, representative of Digtal Stage and media creator, who also managed the Sakamoto Social Project's first installment, Ryuichi Sakamoto's concert in Korea, and his North American tour!

"I had planned to book tickets and enjoy the show over dinner, but as one of the initiators of kizunaworld.org, I was suddenly asked to handle the broadcast as a charity event. I'll be doing this solo stream! If you agree with the cause, please join kizunaworld.org," says Hirano.

SAKAMOTO Ryuichi
Born in Tokyo in 1952. Completed his Master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School. Debuted solo in 1978 with "Thousand Knives."
In the same year, he formed "YMO" with Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi. After YMO disbanded, he continued to work across various media, including music, film, publishing, and advertising. In 1984, he received the British Academy Award for "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence," in which he also appeared and composed the music, and the Academy Award and Grammy Award for the music of "The Last Emperor." Since then, his activities have centered in Europe and North America. He founded artists'power, a group advocating for the promotion of renewable energy, and his work spans a wide range of fields.

Christian Fennesz
A guitarist from Austria. Since releasing the landmark album "Endless Summer," which opened new horizons in laptop music, he has collaborated with artists such as David Sylvian and Ryuichi Sakamoto, extending his work beyond the boundaries of electronic music. He also works under the name Fennesz and has participated in numerous electronic music projects. He consistently makes a significant impact on the global electronic music scene and is an indispensable presence in today's music landscape.

While there are no public viewing plans for this project like there were in Korea last time, this time, a "private viewing" is recommended for enjoying music and dining with family and friends in a quiet setting. It would be best to enjoy this "fennesz + sakamoto" performance in a calm environment with excellent acoustics.
