Spotlight on New Music!
This time, we feature new music from artists like SBTRKT, who is scheduled to perform at the Fuji Rock Festival in late July and is gaining support from both the post-dubstep and pop scenes with their upcoming debut album release, as well as new producers such as V.I.V.E.K. and Silkie.

We also featured the reunion album of Banda Black Rio, a Brazilian jazz-funk band active mainly in the late 1970s, and the latest work from Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, presenting an eclectic selection.

Work for Sanriku Project
Even three months after the Great East Japan Earthquake, many people are still forced to live in evacuation centers, and public attention is gradually shifting towards the nuclear disaster. However, those who have lost family, friends, homes, and jobs face each day with profound anxiety about the future.
In the Sanriku region along the coast of Iwate Prefecture, men engaged in fishing continue their work towards swift recovery. The women, who previously assisted with landings and shelling shellfish, have now lost that work and have begun creating accessories using the fishing gear available to them. These are the "Hamano Misanga" (Seaside Bracelets) called "Tamaki."
Each piece is carefully handcrafted, and their simple texture offers a warmth that mass-produced items lack. Furthermore, their design and quality have earned high praise from the fashion industry.
