Acoustic Sounds for the Verdant Season
On Sunday nights, your own time, flowing gently with exquisite music, is a moment of bliss for adults. Delivering such rich moments is DJToshio Matsuura's radio program, TOKYO MOON.──Each Sunday, he broadcasts a selection of wonderful music from around the world and adult topics that stimulate intellectual curiosity, from 7 PM on Inter FM 76.1MHz. Here, we present the program as it airs each week. This week, inspired by the vibrant greenery of the season, we've curated a mix of new and old acoustic sounds. We also have an update on the support activities for 'Jazz Kissa h.imagine,' which we previously featured on this page.

Music to Color the Vibrant Season

V.A. / Compilation Mental Groove
This time, we've focused on new and old acoustic tracks, evoking the brilliance of early summer greenery. From the UK, we feature new releases from Ninja Tune's singer-songwriter Fink and the Greg Foat Group, whose albums are soon to be released. We also delve into the work of Scott Walker, who moved from the US to the UK in the 1960s and achieved great success, influencing countless artists from David Bowie to Thom Yorke of Radiohead. His 1969 work is included, alongside a 1999 cover by Detroit DJ Carl Craig of a Philly soul classic from 1972. Our selection spans a wide range.
