Feature|THINK POSITIVE!
What Ryuichi Sakamoto Considers "What We Can Do Now"
──What do you think "we can do now"?
First, pray. Then, donate. Because no amount of money will ever be enough. Whether it's one yen or one hundred million yen, the amount doesn't matter. Of course, sending supplies is also an option. If you go, be mindful not to get in the way of the disaster-stricken areas, listen carefully to the voices from the ground, and avoid doing it for your own satisfaction.
──Actions we can take within our own professions and lifestyles
It goes without saying that we should all leverage our influence and skills in our respective positions to donate and solicit donations. More importantly, we must envision and present a vision for Japan and the world in the near future, a vision of how we want things to be. A grand vision, not just short-term palliative care.
