Exquisite Music Chosen Across Time and Genres, From Old to New

It's already been over 10 days since the start of 2011. The New Year's mood is likely fading, and everyone is probably returning to their usual routines. This time, we've chosen cool tracks for the middle of winter. I think they surprisingly match the cold nights and make the songs shine. This selection includes groovy soul jazz from Ben Sidran's first album, released in 1971, which has not faded with time; an orchestral re-performance of a song by Slum Village, featuring the now-deceased genius Jay Dee (J. Dilla), who influenced not only the 90s hip-hop scene but music lovers worldwide; and a cover of a masterpiece by Mos Def, an artist who also showcases his talent as an actor. All of these tracks are cool yet full of groove. I believe it was a fulfilling 30 minutes.
