An Exquisite Blend of Trends and Originality

While plumpynuts does not adhere to specific themes each season, the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection masterfully combines "GOOD GIRL GRUNGE"—a sophisticated take on grunge—with "ROMANTIC MODERN SEVENTIES."

Feminine skirts with fringe details are paired with lace tunics and tops, while 70s-inspired pieces are softened with frills and lace blouses, imbuing them with a romantic sensibility. Retro grunge and ethnic elements are reinterpreted through high-quality materials and unique silhouettes, creating a style that is both romantic and modern.

The brand's directly managed shop, "SHOW CASE by plumpynuts," located in Jingumae, Tokyo, evokes the image of a "SHOW CASE" filled with the favorite things of its two female designers. The abundant fresh greenery within the store creates a harmonious space alongside the plumpynuts collection.

The shop offers the full plumpynuts collection, as well as MR. GENTLEMAN, a menswear brand designed by Takeshi Osomi, designer of Phenomenon, and Yuichi Yoshii, owner of The Contemporary Fix.
