Founded in Cologne, Germany, in 1898, RIMOWA has provided suitcases that become partners for travelers worldwide. While respecting tradition, RIMOWA actively incorporates cutting-edge technology. This approach, known as "German Engineering," makes it one of the few manufacturers still producing in Germany. In 1937, the brand adopted aluminum alloy, a strong yet lightweight material, for its suitcases. Then, in 1950, inspired by the legendary "Junkers" aircraft, the iconic groove design was born. This distinctive ribbed pattern remains a brand icon, used on all RIMOWA suitcases to this day.

The "RIMOWA Store Tokyo Omotesando" spans approximately 700 square meters, while the "RIMOWA Store Osaka Shinsaibashi" covers about 600 square meters, making both the largest RIMOWA stores worldwide. They offer a wide array of products, from travel suitcases to business attaché cases, all featuring high functionality. Additionally, the stores carry a comprehensive selection of travel accessories, suitcase care products, and small leather goods such as wallets and iPhone cases adorned with the signature groove design.
