Kids' Collection and Collaboration Leather Goods Also Launch
This pop-up store marks the brand's first-ever six-month engagement. Titled "West 13th Street, NY 10014," using the New York head office address, the store's concept revolves around the daily lives of the designers, staff at the New York headquarters, and their families. In addition to the full lineup of the latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection, lifestyle items unique to the brand will be proposed seasonally. Rain gear will be available during the rainy season, followed by a capsule collection of beach items for summer.
Furthermore, coinciding with the opening, a kids' capsule collection and leather goods, a collaboration with the long-established Japanese leather goods manufacturer "AJIOKA.", will be launched. For kids, there will be four types of T-shirts featuring miniature versions of the latest collection's graphic prints. Other items include wooden cube puzzles and yo-yos inspired by vintage toys, and cute mini tote bags also recommended for adults.
The collaboration with "AJIOKA.", a long-established Japanese leather goods manufacturer that the designer has long admired, is not to be missed. The lineup includes leather trays, coaster sets, and leather cup sleeves for coffee cups, all made in Japan. High-quality vegetable-tanned leather is used for the material, allowing for the enjoyment of patina development and aging that deepens with use. These kids' collection items and leather goods will be available first at the limited-time store, with retail availability at directly managed stores beginning in late April.
