Ginza Flagship Store Opens This Autumn Across Three Floors

First Store in Japan to Feature Men's Apparel and Accessories

The Ginza store spans two floors above ground and one below, covering 702 square meters. The store design concept follows that of the Jing'an Kerry Centre store, which opened in Shanghai, China, last year.

The facade, a signature of the brand, blends metallics and textures, composed of a luminous screen that resembles a sequined gown woven with light. The exterior walls will feature a large screen, and the main entrance on the first floor will have a glass window framed in marble. Inside, stainless steel fixtures, marble floors, Macassar wood, and zebra-skin accents will create the luxurious, comfortable, and jet-set world that MICHAEL KORS excels at expressing.

The second floor will showcase ready-to-wear and shoe collections from both the MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION and MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS women's lines. The first floor will feature accessories such as handbags, leather goods, watches, jewelry, and eyewear. The basement floor will introduce men's apparel and accessories for the first time in Japan.

Designer Michael Kors commented, "Tokyo is a world-class fashion capital, and Ginza is one of the world's premier shopping districts. It is both exciting and a privilege to open our store in this special location."

John Idol, Chairman and CEO, stated, "Japan is a key market for our continued growth in Asia. Given the importance of Tokyo as a city for luxury and fashion retail, we believe this is the ideal place and time to open a new concept store that can express all facets of our brand."
