Designer Makie Yahagi of MAKIÉ creates clothing that is simple yet pursues modern beauty through meticulous cutting and material selection. Over 16 years ago, she opened a boutique in New York's SOHO, focusing on children's wear, and has long been supported by many fans. Ten years ago, she expanded to include women's wear alongside kids' wear. Effortlessly charming, high-quality cotton shirts and wool dresses. Her clothes achieve their full beauty the moment they are worn, bringing comfort and peace to the wearer.

MAKIÉ has now, with careful consideration, opened a shop in Daikanyama's Hillside Terrace this October, offering both women's wear and homewear.

As the name suggests, MAKIÉ HOME also offers a wide range of homewear. From original cloth and cushion covers made from vintage fabrics to practical tableware and cleaning tools, the emphasis is on simplicity and thoughtful design. Among the items she has gathered from around the world with her discerning eye are silver pots used in a Kyoto hotel restaurant and ceramics by French artist Geneviève, items that can only be found here. Of course, antique cutlery and glassware sourced from Europe are all one-of-a-kind.
