Two New Lines Dedicated to Specific Items Debut!

From the Autumn/Winter 2014-15 season, two new lines, planned by the new Y’s design team and specializing in specific items, will debut. Look out for “MICHIKO by Y’s,” a dress line that blends Y’s signature everyday wear realism with elegance, and “KAYO NAKAMURA by Y’s,” an accessory line centered on shoes!

New Lines Following This Spring/Summer’s “by Y’s” Series

The dress line “MICHIKO by Y’s” features dresses that mix contrasting materials like “silk × jersey,” dresses that combine “t-shirt × bustier,” and sweet-and-spicy coordinates such as “tough coat × slip dress.” These combinations of opposing textures and forms add Y’s characteristic everyday wear realism to an elegant aesthetic.

The theme for the debut collection of the accessory line “KAYO NAKAMURA by Y’s” is “medallion.” Casual leather sneakers are adorned with medallions, lending them a dressy atmosphere.

The collection also features statement shoes, such as pony × suede × glass × smooth leather mixed-material pieces with Y’s signature playful touch and a contemporary feel, as well as thick-soled leather shoes with shark soles × medallions, and knit mid-boots × medallions.
