"discord," a new luxury accessory brand, was unveiled at the "Nipponista" pop-up store in New York this past February. For over 40 years since beginning his career as a designer in 1972, Yohji Yamamoto, who has continued to lead the global fashion scene, will propose new values through luxury accessories. The collection features items such as bags, shoes, and scarves, all meticulously crafted in Japan with a commitment to high quality. A distinctive feature is the incorporation of Japan's subtle beauty and delicate grace into the designs.



The first collection, the Fall/Winter 2014 pre-collection, will be available for advance purchase from May 12 (Mon) to May 20 (Tue) at The Stage, 1st Floor, Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. Following this, it will be available at Ginza Mitsukoshi from May 21 (Wed) and Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from May 28 (Wed). Sales will commence at Yohji Yamamoto Aoyama Main Store from May 23 (Fri). Furthermore, an installation displaying "discord" items will be held in the hotel lobby on the 38th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, until June 8 (Sun).
