Jewelry & Accessories Brand "JUPITER" Unveils Renewal

First Japanese Brand to Feature Jane Birkin as Visual Model

This spring, the jewelry and accessories brand "JUPITER" has been reborn with a renewed, more modern and minimalist design, while retaining its commitment to intricate, detail-oriented creation. To mark this renewal, the brand has appointed the actress and singer Jane Birkin as its visual model, a first for a Japanese brand. The campaign aims to highlight the allure of jewelry that makes women shine.

Brand Concept and Design Reimagined

The new "JUPITER" welcomes Hayato Kohama (SPECIAL PROJECT CONSULTING) as Brand Manager and redefines its designs with the concept "Mylikes (I’ll do in ways my likes. My way)."

The collection features timeless jewelry, including the "Ruban" series, inspired by the motif of ribbons symbolizing connection and unity, adorned with sparkling gold, gentle pearls, and light-colored gemstones.

Jane Birkin's Private Moments Captured

This season's visual catalog showcases a collage of Jane Birkin's life: from rare portraits from her teenage years and candid shots from her vibrant 20s and 30s, to recent images newly shot in Paris. The images are artfully combined with the jewelry, celebrating Jane's journey of aging beautifully and authentically.

JANE BIRKIN
Born in London, England, the actress and singer began her acting career in earnest with Michelangelo Antonioni's "Blow-Up" in 1966. She is the mother of Kate Barry (photographer), Charlotte Gainsbourg (actress/singer), and Lou Doillon (actress), all born from her relationships with three partners. Famously, her encounter with Jean-Louis Dumas, the fifth-generation head of Hermès, on a plane, where he noticed her overflowing basket, led to the creation of the Hermès "Birkin" bag. She is a fashion icon admired by many celebrities both in Japan and abroad. Shortly after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, she personally traveled to Japan, despite her own illness, to engage in charitable activities and offer comfort to those affected.
