Chakras are a concept from Ayurveda, an ancient Indian tradition, and the Sanskrit word means "wheel."
There are seven chakras, numbered one through seven, located along the spine. The first chakra is at the tailbone, and the seventh is at the crown of the head. It is believed that vital energy flows in a vortex, like a "wheel," at each chakra point.
When each chakra point is open and functioning properly, individuals are healthy in mind and body, full of energy, and experience heightened mental clarity and inspiration. However, if they become closed, it is said that one is prone to illness or a dulling of the senses.
Through various practices such as yoga, qigong, and meditation, people can open imbalanced chakras and guide their mind and body toward a state of harmony.

The aroma blends for the seven "Chakra Balancing Mists" were developed in collaboration with five internal and external AVEDA experts. They are not only pleasant and calming but also functional aroma blends that harness the power of nature to address various conditions, drawing from Ayurveda, aromatherapy, clinical aromatherapy, pharmacology, phytology, and plant science.

Among the seven scents, my particular favorite is the aroma for the seventh chakra. This blend combines "organically certified elemi and olibanum," which bring warmth to the heart and revive the spirit while promoting relaxation, with "organically certified angelica root" (also known as the root of spirits, a sacred plant), which calms the mind and fosters inner strength.
Before starting work at my computer, I spray the mist upwards and take a deep inhale. Personally, I feel as though my nasal passages clear, allowing me to approach my work with a refreshed feeling.
