GUCCI's First Signature Pattern, "Diamante," Reimagined in Jewelry

The "Diamantissima" collection, as its name suggests, draws inspiration from "Diamante," one of Gucci's signature patterns. While Gucci also offers jewelry collections inspired by brand icons like "Horsebit" and "Bamboo," "Diamantissima" is unique as the only collection to be based on a pattern.

The "Diamante" motif originated in the 1930s as Gucci's first signature pattern. This graphical pattern of interlocking diamond shapes was first woven onto hemp and used for luggage during a period of leather scarcity before the war. "Diamante" is the precursor to Gucci's globally recognized and most iconic symbol, the "Original GG pattern."

The "Diamantissima" collection elevates the brand's heritage into sparkling jewelry, with the characteristic diamond shapes rendered in three dimensions. Its substantial, glamorous radiance adorns the skin with a festive allure. The delicate lines of the light, open weave embody the craftsmanship passed down through generations of Florentine jewelers.

From the "Diamantissima" collection, we present Japan-exclusive earrings, necklaces, and rings. The glow of pink gold, imbued with feminine softness and warmth, is particularly captivating. The designs are smaller and more delicate than those in the regular collection, making them ideal for daily wear. Available in pink gold and white gold, with precious versions featuring diamonds also offered. The "-issima" in "Diamantissima" means "the most" or "supreme." Embrace this exceptional brilliance, befitting the name "the supreme Diamante."
