MaxMara Ginza San-Chome Reopens

MaxMara Ginza San-Chome, the brand's largest flagship store in Japan, reopened on Friday, September 6th. Designed by Duccio Grassi Architects, the store has been reborn with a new concept, featuring an open design that draws in natural light through its facade.

A Limited Edition Bag for Ginza San-Chome

The most striking feature of this renovation is how natural light is brought into the space through the facade.
This concept evolves from the Milan flagship store, which reopened in 2012. Duccio Grassi Architects was responsible for the design.

White decorative elements surrounding the glass building capture natural light, creating an open interior while allowing views into the store from the outside. Materials are used effectively to evoke the brand's characteristic gentle and warm atmosphere, blending the sensibility of the Milan flagship with elements unique to the Ginza store, creating a space that calls for new solutions and different visions. The collection includes MaxMara and Sportmax lines, as well as a wide range of accessories.

To commemorate this, a new color of the "JBag," MaxMara's new bag that also appeared on the runway for the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection, has been released as a Ginza San-Chome exclusive. This luxurious ostrich leather bag in a light yet elegant dark red is captivating. A special window display by Italian interior design duo Studiopepe will also be on view until Monday, September 30th. Additionally, all purchasers will receive a special gift. As quantities are limited and will be available until supplies last, early visits are recommended.
