Seville à l’Aube (Dawn in Seville) was created based on a story told by writer Denyse Beaulieu to Bertrand Duchaufour, a master perfumer and member of L’Artisan Parfumeur’s perfumer family, with the concept of "perfuming as storytelling."

The story unfolds in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. During the festive period known as Semana Santa (Holy Week), the city is filled with the scent of incense and a spiritual atmosphere. The delicate, honey-like fragrance of blooming orange blossoms drifts through, mingling with the scent of lavender cologne from the crowds in Seville and the aroma of candles from churches holding festive ceremonies. It is a passionate story that began with the encounter of a young woman and a Spanish man amidst this sublime ambiance.

Seville à l’Aube is inspired by the orange tree, its sap’s green scent blended with sparkling aldehyde notes to express heightened emotions in the top notes. The fragrance of lavender eau de cologne, favored in Spain, is then added, dramatically opening the scent of Seville à l’Aube.
