GUCCI 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Advertising Visuals
After exploring the hedonistic exuberance of Berlin in its 2016 Spring/Summer collection, GUCCI has chosen Tokyo as the stage for its Autumn/Winter season. The familiar cityscape and Gucci's 2016-17 Autumn/Winter collection resonate beautifully.

Featuring Japanese "Dekotora" and "Pachinko Parlors"
Gucci has unveiled its 2016-17 Autumn/Winter advertising visuals, shot by photographer Glen Luchford. The setting for this season is none other than... Tokyo!
While Gucci's 2016 Spring/Summer collection captured the hedonistic spirit of Berlin, the Autumn/Winter season focuses on Tokyo, a city brimming with eccentric subcultures. Unlike Berlin, where grit and romance collide, Tokyo is a dynamic convergence of tradition and hyper-modernity, radiating bold individuality.
In the visuals directed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, models adorned in the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter collection are depicted swaying in "Dekotora" trucks, drifting aimlessly from neon-lit streets to pachinko parlors, immersing themselves in Tokyo's vibrant symphony of light and sound.
Tokyo, a lively fusion of tradition and modernity, stillness and chaos, offers a psychedelic sensory experience, within which Alessandro Michele's unique worldview finds a beautiful resonance.
