Three Main Window Design Types

Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele has designed unique and eccentric window displays for the brand's shops worldwide, inspired by the 2016 Pre-Fall collection. Key to these new displays are the partitions and scalloped pedestals that were used in the Spring/Summer 2016 womenswear show.

These display tools are covered in special prints inspired by the 2016 Pre-Fall collection, with extra-large studs adorning them throughout – a detail that continues from the Spring/Summer 2016 womenswear collection into the Pre-Fall collection. Additionally, Gucci's iconic tiger heads are used for handbag displays.

There are three main types of window designs. For the women's item windows, pink prints featuring cranes are used on the wallpaper, partitions, and floor. For the men's item windows, similar prints inspired by grasslands are employed. The unisex item windows feature yellow velvet quilting, with the entire floor also covered in yellow velvet.

The menswear windows, like those for accessories, incorporate tiger heads and studs. Additionally, torsos adorned with cherry red 'Herbarium' prints are used for womenswear, while emerald green 'Herbarium' prints are used for menswear, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.

These window designs will be rolled out sequentially at shops globally, beginning with the flagship stores on Via Montenapoleone in Milan and Rue Royale in Paris. Visit a store near you to discover the 2016 Pre-Fall collection window designs created by Alessandro Michele.
