The "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibition, which runs until August 19th (Sunday) at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, features two Italian female designers, Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli. To mark this special exhibition, a unique project has been realized to reissue iconic Prada bags from its archives.
The "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibition showcases items and drawings designed by Miuccia from the late 1980s to the present day, captivating visitors with a beauty that transcends time. This special edition release features bags originally launched between 1991 and 2005. This collection will be exclusively available at Prada boutiques in New York.
Among the lineup, highlights include a silk satin bag from 1991, a printed bag from Holiday & Brown in 2003, and a brushed leather bag from 2005 featuring the Prada logo alongside the crest of the House of Savoy, Italy's former royal family, showcasing a collection of true masterpieces.
These timeless bags, a fusion of beauty and artisanal craftsmanship, offer a precious opportunity to experience the history of Prada's design journey, alongside the "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations" exhibition.
