New Exhibition Featuring His Work
Dries Van Noten continues to captivate a devoted following with his fashion-forward pieces, celebrated for their rich textures and original fabrics. For the Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear collection, the house introduces a bold integration of photographer James Reeve's artwork. An exhibition showcasing both Reeve's photographic works and the new collection will be held from Saturday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 18th at the Dries Van Noten Aoyama store.

New Pieces Incorporating Photography Span Dresses, Shirts, and Accessories
Dries Van Noten, known for his deep appreciation of art, has previously adorned the Dries Van Noten Aoyama store, opened in 2009, with two large paintings by 17th-century artist Eraldo de Lairese, alongside new interpretations of these works in monochrome by Yumi Domoto and Mika Ninagawa.
During the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography in 2010, where he served as jury president, Van Noten was captivated by James Reeve's photographic series titled 'Lightscapes.' These images, capturing the nocturnal cityscapes of Beirut, Las Vegas, and Marseille, deeply inspired Van Noten, leading to their bold incorporation into the Spring/Summer 2012 womenswear collection.
This artistic vision extends across dresses, shirts, skirts, and accessories, creating a masterful fusion of Dries Van Noten's designs and Reeve's photography. The Aoyama store will feature a selection of the new collection alongside Reeve's photographic works. This exhibition is also being presented sequentially in Vienna, Hong Kong, and Paris.
