Born in Paris in 1967. Her unique creations are influenced by the folk elegance of her Danish mother, a top model in the 70s and an avid antique collector, and the adventurous spirit of her father, one of the pioneers of ready-to-wear.
Injecting new sensibility into tradition, her sequined tote bags, draped dresses, and knits, born from modern and inspiring creations, define "vanessabruno" beyond time and place.
Furthermore, she draws inspiration from the energy of the 90s UK music scene, from Iggy Pop and Patti Smith, and from musicians such as Janis Joplin, Cat Power, Keren Ann, and Feist.
