World Premiere at Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building Pop-Up Store
The collaboration line "MCM by PHENOMENON" from "MCM" and "PHENOMENON" announces new pieces for the first time in approximately five years. These will be available for a world premiere at a pop-up store held at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 1F Promotion Space, starting Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
Two Types of Pop-Up Store Exclusive Tote Bags Also Debut
For this collaboration, TAKESHI OSUMI, the founder of "PHENOMENON" and currently heading "MR.GENTLEMAN," participates as the designer. The phrase he chose as the collection's theme is "STRICTLY ROOTS."
The collection is born from a commitment to the roots of MCM, which has walked as a heritage brand since its inception in 1976, and to the roots of hip-hop and street culture that OSUMI embodies, all while being richly mixed with elements that OSUMI finds interesting "now."
The lineup includes items such as acrylic board clutch bags, coin cases, and reflector effect sweatshirts that incorporate MCM's iconic Visetos pattern into a street casual style.
The products are designed to be unisex, sending a message to people living in a genderless culture.
This special collection will have its world premiere at the pop-up store held at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 1F Promotion Space from Wednesday, January 22nd to Tuesday, February 4th, after which it will be available at select MCM stores and online.
In addition, two exclusive tote bags, available only at the pop-up store, will be released. This is a unique opportunity to see the full MCM by PHENOMENON collection gathered in one place.
