GIORGIO ARMANI's custom order service, popular for its exceptional comfort, offers two options: "Made to Measure," which involves meticulous measurements of up to approximately 40 points to accommodate individual body nuances, and "Made to Order," where you can easily select from a wide range of sizes (44 to 66) and preferred components without the need for measurements.

While the pinnacle of custom tailoring, "Made to Measure," is available, the more accessible "Made to Order" service also features a selection of exquisite materials, allowing for the creation of original leather jackets and blousons.

Previously, materials like smooth leather, suede, and paper leather were available, but the new addition of "Glove Leather" is a key highlight.

Glove leather is crafted using traditional Neapolitan techniques for making leather gloves, representing a highly superior material among leathers offered for custom orders. The tanning process, involving dyeing in barrels and natural drying, results in unique nuances of color for each finished piece. This individuality is reflected in the tailored jackets, allowing you to create a truly one-of-a-kind item that is uniquely yours.

The leather processing also showcases exquisite craftsmanship. Dyeing and waxing are meticulously done by hand, one piece at a time, by skilled artisans. Furthermore, the edges of the leather are finished with a technique called "raw cut," resulting in a very natural appearance. The interior of the jacket undergoes a special "Nappa-Ran" treatment, where the surface is coated and a resin film is applied to eliminate any fuzziness.

The models available for custom order in this material are two types of tailored jackets: a "two-button peak lapel" and a "two-button notch lapel." The color options are camel and navy. As this is a "Made to Order" service without measurements, your original jacket, crafted from exquisite glove leather with a light, comfortable feel, will be delivered to you in approximately one and a half months from production in Milan.
