A blend of a long-standing skater favorite and Tokyo street culture.

Tokyo-based street brand DELUXE has released a collaboration shoe, the "LAKAI×DELUXE GRIFFIN," with California-based footwear brand LAKAI LIMITED FOOTWEAR.

DELUXE, a street brand launched in Tokyo in 2003, is helmed by designer HUE. Deeply versed in American street culture, the brand infuses concepts from skating, tailoring, and tradition into its creations, imbuing them with an elegant mood that captures the zeitgeist.

The collaborator for this project, LAKAI LIMITED FOOTWEAR, is a leading, long-established brand founded in 1999 by skaters, for skaters, and is spearheaded by RICK HOWARD and MIKE CARROLL.

Based on LAKAI's best-selling GRIFFIN model, this collaboration features an all-black colorway and oriental-inspired embroidery on the upper. The contrast with the crimson insole is also a key feature.

The shoes also feature LAKAI's iconic logo on both sides, with glossy silicone accents adding a touch of luxury. These are excellent shoes for both skating and everyday wear.
