New Ways of Interacting with and Expressing Things in the 21st Century

'L&KONDO' crafts exquisite items from high-quality leather using various techniques. This autumn/winter, the popular embossed bag series is further enhanced. 'Expanding the range of items allows for a wider variety of processing techniques,' says Kaneyoshi Kondo.
In addition to the well-established leather goods, this season also features women's fur bags. 'In autumn and winter, when clothing lacks patterns, having colorful and patterned accessories makes coordinating more enjoyable,' he notes.



At this exhibition, alongside the popular tableware like coasters and glass holders that 'L&KONDO' excels at, new photo frames developed from the embossed series were also introduced. Kondo states, 'Using leather as a material to add design to our daily lives is a new approach and form of expression for the 21st century.'




For the increasingly popular 'L&KONDO É FATTA,' new nylon and all-leather versions of the familiar bestseller 'Swing Bag (clutch type)' have been introduced. These new items, which add new materials to functionality and design, are scheduled for an initial release around June in the bag section on the B1 floor of Shinjuku Isetan Men's Building.
Furthermore, as an evolution of the 'Swing Bag (clutch type),' a new bag-shaped clutch inspired by 'paper bags' is also planned for release this autumn/winter. This new design, perfect for use as a bag-in-bag, overturns conventional notions.
