The Della Valle family, at the helm of Tod's Group, has pledged a donation of approximately 600 million Japanese yen to Italy's Civil Protection Department and established a fund. The collected funds will be used to support the families of healthcare workers who lost their lives to the coronavirus.

TOD’S, a leading Italian leather fashion brand, announced that the Della Valle family, who serve as the group's chairman and vice-chairman, will establish a fund by providing a total of approximately 600 million yen (5 million euros).

The purpose of this fund is to support the families of healthcare workers who lost their lives while engaged in medical activities during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The fund has been named "Sempre con Voi" (Always With You) and will also accept donations from individuals who support this cause.

The operation of the fund will be entrusted to Italy's Civil Protection Department. Tod's expresses its gratitude to the department for tackling the daily challenges it faces, commenting, "The bravery and dedication of the deceased healthcare workers serve as a valuable lesson for all of us to pass on to future generations."
