Beams Hosts ROBERT WARNER LEATHER Made-to-Order Event
A Living Legend Returns to Japan!
Beams to Host "ROBERT WARNER LEATHER" Order Event
In early December, ROBERT WARNER, a designer who shaped an era of fashion, will hold an order event at BEAMS STREET SHINSAIBASHI in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, and INTERNATIONAL GALLERY BEAMS in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Mr. Warner was the lead designer for "NORTH BEACH LEATHER," a Los Angeles (LA) leather brand, for several years from its launch in the late 1960s. He created custom stage and private wear for numerous musicians, cultivating a fervent following.

Scenes from last year's event

This marks the third time this order event has been held. It is exclusively hosted by BEAMS in Japan, allowing customers to place orders while trying on sample items, or to discuss ideas directly with Mr. Warner, much like at his LA atelier, to create original pieces.
On the day of the event, there will also be an exhibition of the tools, design sketches, and leather samples that Robert actually uses in his studio, making for an even more engaging experience.
