Nike Tech Pack, Tech Fleece Collection Released

The latest Tech Pack, worn by top athletes including Hotaru Yamaguchi (football), Angelica Bengtsson (pole vault), Lee Chung-yong (football), Eugenie Bouchard (tennis), Sean Malto (skateboarding), Kevin-Prince Boateng (football), and Li Na (tennis).—The Nike Tech Pack, Tech Fleece Collection for Fall 2014, for men and women from "NIKE SPORTSWEAR," will be available starting Thursday, August 21st, online at Nike.com/sportswear, and from Thursday, August 28th, at select Nike Sportswear retailers.

The Latest Evolution of Sports Fleece

Since its debut in 2007, Nike Tech Pack has pursued advanced design with an emphasis on uncompromising functionality. Last year, Nike Tech Fleece, created for the modern athlete, became a major talking point by combining advanced materials rich in breathability, warmth, and flexibility with classic Nike silhouettes.

This season's Nike Tech Pack collection features two styles that emphasize freedom of movement and protection from all weather conditions, seeking enhanced functionality, silhouettes that create a fresh yet classic impression, and timeless style.

The men's "Nike Tech Windrunner" is an evolved version of the jacket designed for Nike contract runners in 1978, which later became a street style staple. Mimicking the original, it uses water-resistant iridescent fabric overlays to handle rain and snow while emphasizing the Windrunner's classic V-design.

Design details include a longer hood brim and reflective material on the zipper pull. In addition to the Nike Tech Windrunner, the collection also includes the Nike Tech Fleece Crew and Nike Tech Fleece Pants.

The women's "Nike Tech Butterfly Jacket" features a new silhouette that expresses an elegant balance. The oversized hood and dolman sleeves, which fit the cuffs in a feminine way, achieve ease of movement and a flattering fit.

Furthermore, details like the asymmetrical front zip and accent colors on the zipper pull make it perfect as streetwear. In addition to the Nike Tech Butterfly Jacket, the collection includes the Nike Tech Fleece Funnel and Nike Tech Fleece Pants.
