Within Berluti's history spanning over a century, its connection to cycling began in 1950. Talbinio, then the third-generation head of Berluti, created shoes for Jacques Goddet, the director of the Tour de France and founder of the newspaper L'Équipe, balancing comfort and elegance. Inspired by cycling footwear, he crafted a pair using waxed velvet calfskin.

The story continues today, with Berluti partnering with a small manufacturer highly regarded in the cycling world. Victoire Cycle, established in 2011 by four cycling enthusiasts, is a French maker based in Clermont-Ferrand, a hub for many renowned bicycle manufacturers. They craft bespoke bicycles, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

Victoire Cycle has now designed a bicycle for Berluti. Inspired by the designs of bicycles used by postal workers in the early 20th century, this model is equipped with bespoke luxury parts, boasting both a beautiful form and high functionality.

This model makes the idea of a city gentleman cycling through town a reality. Berluti has also designed accessories for this bicycle, including a frame bag, a handlebar bag, and cycling shoes featuring toe clips.

The classic lace-up shoe, "Alessandro," is also presented in a cycling shoe version, complete with leather straps to secure the foot. Available in tobacco bis or nero, it is crafted from "Vitello Amazon leather." These items (excluding the bicycle itself) are suitable for cycling through major citiessuch as Paris, New York, London, and can be ordered as special orders at Berluti stores in these cities.
