Fred Perry’s Products Uniquely Styled with 6876’s Design Manifesto
The Fred Perry collaboration project “Blank Canvas” views Fred Perry’s iconic items as a “blank canvas,” inviting emerging artists based in London to freely express their creativity.
The brand collaborating this time, “6876 (Six Eight Seven Six),” was started in 1995 by Kenneth Mackenzie. The collection is a mix of classic Fred Perry products and reworked pieces from 6876’s archives.
Fred Perry’s classic cotton polo shirts, along with short and long-sleeved merino wool shirts, are offered in an autumn palette of navy, grey, and oatmeal. Key pieces also include 6876’s iconic modernist, made-in-London car coats from around 1999, two classic 6876 shirts, merino wool crew necks, and Scottish-made split roll-neck lamb’s wool jumpers.
All styles feature the distinctive silhouettes of each brand, with cuts and details true to 6876’s design manifesto. The collaboration powerfully exudes the rebellious spirit shared by both Fred Perry and 6876.
