Releasing a Collaboration T-Shirt and a Chair Crafted from Sustainable Materials

A Unique Look with Paint and Signatures by Futura

Founded in 2013, the fashion brand "READYMADE".
A "chair," created as a new endeavor by READYMADE, was unveiled at the virtual festival "TRANSFER."
This event is a new type of festival organized by NTWRK, co-directed by Edison Chen, director of "CLOT," and legendary graffiti artist Futura, with music direction by LA's popular party organizer Zack Bia.
The chair unveiled is a unique, colorful piece, featuring paint and signatures by Futura, and is one of a kind.
Yuta Hosokawa, the designer of READYMADE, has previously created apparel and bags, but has harbored a long-held desire to make furniture. This has now been realized.
The frame of the chair is made from recycled plastic bottle caps. To prevent the emission of toxic gases, the caps are melted and formed into a sheet by being fired with Binchotan charcoal, before being transformed into a chair.
The seat is meticulously woven from rattan by artisans, creating a striking contrast with the frame.
This design aligns with READYMADE's concept of "circulating materials that would otherwise be discarded as waste, and transforming them into valuable items."
The chair was sold via lottery within TRANSFER and was immediately sold out due to high demand. All proceeds will be donated to "Doctors Without Borders."
Also released at the same event was the "READYMADE × FUTURA 3PACK TEE." This collaboration t-shirt features striking urban prints by Futura. These also sold out immediately after their release.
READYMADE continues to expand its activities beyond apparel. Their future endeavors are certainly worth watching.
