An Adorable Bear in Iron Blue Fabric

To commemorate the release of a new color, Iron Blue, from PORTER's signature TANKER series, a PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR crafted from the same fabric has been released. It can be purchased at POP-UP TOUR events held in various locations.

Crafted Entirely in Japan, From Design to Sewing

A new color, "IRON BLUE," has arrived for PORTER's TANKER series. This sophisticated and calming original color is inspired by "Tetsukon," a traditional Japanese hue.

Specially produced to celebrate this release is the "PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR 2021 ver." Every step, from design to sewing, is carried out in Japan, with each piece meticulously handcrafted.

The main body is made of Iron Blue fabric. Parts of the limbs are accented with orange fabric, creating a look that blends chicness with a touch of pop.

Notably, the bear's eyes are made of German glass, known for its clarity and vibrant color. Antique bears from the 1970s onwards typically used plastic eyes.

This item features glass eyes, prevalent in bears from the 1940s to the 1960s. Unlike plastic eyes, glass eyes allow light to pass through more easily and each has a unique character.

A padlock and a brass chain form the collar, adding a distinctive touch. The main body comes with an original tag embroidered with the year of manufacture. At the POP-UP TOUR locations for TANKER IRON BLUE, you can choose the color of the padlock's glass leather from black, orange, or olive. The head, arms, and legs are articulated with joint parts, allowing for free movement, adding to its charm.

The PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR will be available for pre-sale at the TANKER IRON BLUE POP-UP TOUR. Its understated appearance seems well-suited to blend seamlessly with interior decor.
