PEACE AND AFTER and xVESSEL are releasing collaboration sandals. Notably, they utilize 'gaza' woven mats, creating items that are both unique and functional.

PEACE AND AFTER is a design team that creates new value by mixing diverse histories and cultures from across time and space, centered around street culture.

They produce pop and sophisticated items through their unique filter, even for slightly quirky and funny imagery.

This time, they have collaborated with 'xVESSEL,' a brand helmed by Taiwanese actor and singer Van Ness Wu.

These sandals feature a midsole reminiscent of sneakers, and the insoles, which directly contact the skin, are made using traditional Japanese 'gaza' woven from domestic igusa (rushes).

The result is an item with an urban and modern look, blending a Japanese aesthetic inspired by zori sandals with street style.

The straps feature a fringed canvas fabric, also used in xVESSEL's popular 'G.O.P' sneaker series, adding an accent.

With a highly cushioned sole that prevents fatigue even after long walks, and igusa rushes offering breathability and deodorizing effects, these are fashionable yet functional footwear.

Two color variations are available. The Natural color uses the inherent color of the igusa rushes, evoking tradition, while the Multicolor version is woven from igusa rushes dyed in various modern shades.
